There are three main reasons I wrote Take Control of Your Financial Future, the Secret to Achieving Financial Independence So You Can Make Work Optional:

First, I wanted to share my story in the hope that I can prevent others from going through the devastation I experienced when my children were little. No one should have to endure the pain I went through—not once, but twice!

Secondly, as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary who has been serving clients in the financial services industry for over 30 years, I want people to know the truth about what it really takes to achieve financial independence. I want to expose the three problems with traditional investments and reveal the risks that keep investors from ever getting to the point where they can stop working and maintain their lifestyle.

And lastly, I want to give people hope for a better, brighter future by sharing strategies to achieve financial independence that are predictable, so you know when you’ll be able to stop working and how much income you’ll have when you do. I share two pathways—one that is slower but guaranteed where you can save and invest your way to financial security and one that is faster that does not require saving. Both can get you to financial independence without the risk of the stock market. Both can get you to the point in your life where work becomes optional.
